Corfiot pudding with apples

For 6 persons:
* Β½ kilo sour apples
* Β½ kilo red apples
* 3 soupspoons sugar
* 3 soupspoons of raisins
* 3 thick grated rusks
* 2 eggs
* 1 cup whole milk
* 1 spoon grated lemon peel
* juice from a medium lemon
* cream for decoration
Preparation
- Peel and slice the apples. Place sliced apples in long ovenproof dish, sprinkle with the sugar and add the raisins.
- Mix the grated rusks with the eggs, the milk, the grated lemon peel and the lemon juice. Pour the mixture over the apples and bake in the oven at 190 deg. for 45-50 minutes.
- Serve the pudding hot with whipped cream on top.
